I just received access to my Marion & Associates portal. How do I log in?

2. Within the email, you will see your Username listed and a link to access your account. Please make sure to remember your Username. You will need it when you log into the portal in the future.
4. The link will take you to a screen to make your own password on the first line and confirm the password on the second line. Your password must be a minimum of 8 characters.
5. When you create your new password, it will take you to the log in screen. Your username should already be listed. You will need to enter the password you just created.
6. You should be on the “Files” tab and see “From Preparer”. A copy of any documents sent to you will be in that section. Once you locate the document, you will notice a downward arrow next to the file. Click the arrow to download the file.
7. You should be able to view the downloaded copy of the document.
8. If you ever need to access your portal in the future, you can use the following link: https://marionandassociates.securefilepro.com to log into your portal account.
2. Open the email. The email starts with “Hello” followed by your name in bold. Your username is your name in bold with NO SPACES between any of the letters and all CAPITAL letters.
4. Enter your username (that is mentioned in #2), your password, and click login. If you forgot your password, click “Forgot Password” below the password entry field and follow the instructions to reset the password.
5. You should be on the “Files” tab and see “From Preparer”. A copy of the document is in that file. Once you locate the document, you will notice a downward arrow next to the file. Click the arrow to download the file.

Method 1
1. I am at marionandassociates.securefilepro.com/connect and it says “Forgot Password” under the Password Field.
2. Click on “Forgot Password”
1. You will be taken to a new screen where you will enter your username and click “Submit”.
3. A window will open stating that an email has been set to the email address on file. Click “OK”.
4. You will receive an email from michael@marionllc.com with the subject “Reset your SecureFilePro Password. Open the email.
5. Click on the link within the email. Make sure the link opens in Google Chrome or Firefox web browser. The link expires in 14 days.
6. You will be taken to a screen to enter your password and confirm your password. The password must be a minimum of 8 characters. Click “Submit”. Your password has now been reset and you will be redirected to the login screen.
Method 2
1. I am at marionandassociates.securefilepro.com and it says “Forgot username or password” under the Password Field.
2. Click “Forgot username or password”
3. It will take you to a screen where you need to select “I am a client”.
4. On the next screen, select “I forgot my password”.
5. On the next screen, enter your username and click “Submit”. A window will open that states you will be receiving an email to reset your password. Click “OK”.
6. You will receive an email from michael@marionllc.com with the subject “Reset your SecureFilePro Password. Open the email.
7. Click on the link within the email. Make sure the link opens in Google Chrome or Firefox web browser. The link expires in 14 days.

2. Go to the “To Preparer” box. There is an arrow with the words “Upload File”. Click that Icon.
3. A window will open up where you can find files on your computer. Select the document you want to send and click open.
5. The file has now been securely sent and will appear in your “To Preparer” box.

This section will explain how to securely send (upload) and/or receive (download) documents from Marion & Associates, LLC when you do not have a portal account.
How to upload documents:
1. Go to marionandassociates.securefilepro.com. Make sure the link opens in Google Chrome or Firefox web browser.
2. On the right-hand side of the screen, you will notice the Guest Exchange. Click the “Upload” button.
3. You will be taken to a screen where you will need to state your name, email address, select a recipient, and write a message. When you are done entering all the information, click the “Select” button on the right-hand side of the screen.
4. A window will open where you can select the document from your computer that you want to send to the recipient. Find and select the document and click the “Open” button.
5. The file you selected will appear on the right-hand side of the screen. Once you confirm that is the correct document, click the “Upload” button. An email will immediately be sent to the selected recipient stating that there is a document available for them to download.
How to download documents:
1. You should have received an email from michael@marionllc.com with the subject “You have files from Marion & Associates LLC”. Open that email.
2. At the bottom of the email you will notice a message from the sender. Make sure to read the message because it may have information on how to download the document.
3. Click the link within the email. Make sure the link opens in Google Chrome or Firefox web browser.
4. You will be taken to a screen where you enter the email address that received the email and enter the passcode. Information on the passcode probably was provided from the message from the sender within the email. Click the “Submit” button.
5. A window will open where you will see the file for download. Next to the file, you will see a link to “download” the document. Click on the “download” button and the file will download onto your computer.
This section will explain all additional features within the client portal including the client profile and checklist.
Client Profile and how to update your information:
1. You will receive an email from michael@marionllc.com with the subject “You have Profile Data from Marion & Associates LLC. Open that email.
2. Click the link within the email. Make sure the link opens in Google Chrome or Firefox web browser.
3. It will take you to the client portal login screen. Enter your username and password and click “Login”.
4. You will be immediately taken to your profile tab. This screen contains all the information that Marion & Associates LLC currently has for you. You change edit or add any information on this screen.
5. When all information is updated and confirmed for accuracy, check the box “Information is complete”. Marion & Associates LLC will receive a notification that you have completed your profile and all changes will be uploaded into the firm’s software.
Checklist Tab:
1. When Marion & Associates LLC sends you an email to confirm your Profile Data, you have the ability to use the “Checklist” tab.
2. The “Checklist” tab shows all the documents you provided the firm to complete last year’s tax return. Clients find this information very helpful when gathering tax documents for the current filing season.
3. If you want access to the “Checklist” tab, contact Marion & Associates LLC to ensure they send you the email to confirm your profile.
